Fresh Bell Peppers With Delicious Beef & Rice Stuffing
Ingredients
• 3 Bell Peppers, Sliced in Half and Seeded.
• 1 Lbs. Lean Ground Beef.
• 1 Medium Onion, Chopped.
• 1/2 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes.
• 1/2 Tsp. Salt.
• 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper.
• 1/2 Tsp. Onion Powder.
• 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder.
• 1/2 Cup White Rice.
• 15 Oz. Can of Stewed Tomatoes.
• 8 Oz. Tomato Sauce.
• 1 1/2 Cups of Water.
• 6 Cups Shredded Cabbage.
• 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
Steps
1. Place the peppers onto a baking tray, and set aside. Preheat grill to 325F° with flame diffuser closed.2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions over medium-high heat with the red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.3. Once the meat is cooked, pour in the rice, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and shredded cabbage. Cover and let simmer over medium-low (250) heat until the rice is cooked and the cabbage is tender.4. If there is excess water once the rice is cooked, turn the heat up to medium-high (320) and let it simmer off.5. Place the beef mixture into the waiting cups that were made with the bell peppers. Top with cheese and pop onto your pre-heated pellet grill for about 30 minutes.6. Remove and enjoy!
