It all began in May 2019, when a group of grilling enthusiasts and engineers—united by a love for authentic outdoor cooking and sustainable living—gathered for a barbecue that would change everything. It was raining heavily that morning, and although we considered canceling, we went ahead anyway—dragging a bulky power station and untangling endless extension cords across the wet grass. That decision changed our lives. While grilling meat with beer (purely as an experiment), we accidentally created what became our eureka moment: the meat turned out incredibly crispy yet juicy. We were amazed—and soaked—but beyond the excitement, we couldn’t ignore the obvious: outdoor grilling shouldn’t be this clumsy and constrained.

We spent the following months trying to recreate that perfect result. Countless tests later, we discovered the secret: humidity. That rainy day had unlocked something no one expected. This insight led us to develop the PI-ONE, the first pellet grill with precise humidity control, delivering perfect results in any weather.

During our R&D journey, we visited a legendary Texas BBQ spot. The pitmasters generously showed us their process—slow-smoking brisket with local oak and hickory, constantly tending the fire, spritzing beef broth to lock in moisture, and dealing with tedious cleanup afterward. It was a masterpiece of flavor built on relentless effort. We knew then that PI had to offer something better: authentic taste, but without the babysitting and mess.

Our design and tech teams took on the challenge: How do we merge modern technology with the soul of wood-fired tradition? The answer required nearly a thousand sketches, smart software, and a built-in high-capacity battery pack that needs no external power. Every screw, every curve, every line of code was chosen with purpose—to create a grill that’s not only powerful and portable, but also smart enough to control via app. Monitor temperatures, adjust humidity, and receive alerts—no chasing cords, no frantic cleanup, no guessing.

With our core design defined, we turned to engineering a grill that could withstand the elements as bravely as our team did that rainy day. We developed ultra-weather-resistant materials with industry-leading heat insulation and smoke retention—so every cook would be consistent, rain or shine.
